Wolfdog Registry
The wolfdog does NOT
have a wolf as a parent. It is very
intelligent and loyal, yet their
world does not revolve entirely
around a human master. A good wolfdog
will instinctively view his owner
as the head of the family (or pack).
By nurturing this relationship, a
knowledgeable owner can develop a
bond of intense loyalty, which
can be maintained for life.
The wolfdog is, even more so
than Man, a very social creature
and, in most cases, will readily
transfer these feelings to a
human family structure. This
canine will, without fail, crave
companionship. For this reason,
if you cannot be with it
constantly, another canine
companion should be made
available.
A good wolfdog is very loving.
However, caution and constant
supervision should be exercised
when small children are
interacting with them, as is the
case with ALL dog breeds. The
wolfdog requires much of its
owner's time, love, patience and
persistence. The potential owner
must learn about their particular
habits and traits and adjust
their lifestyle accordingly. The
lineage of these canines must be
completely documented and
verifiable at least four
generations.
