DOG REGISTRY

            Certain standard dog breeds are accepted for registry with USAWA using their common name. These include, but are not limited to: the sled-types (Malamute, Husky, etc.) and the Shepherd-types. Some non-recognized or newly developed breeds are accepted, such as the Saarlooswolfhund, American Wolfdog, Alsatian Shepherd, Native Amerindian Dog, Tundra Shepherd, Arikara dog, etc. The lineage of these canines must be documented and verifiable.
