Glow Discharge Source Controllers

This unit allows for 3 three different methods of attachment to the discharge source to allow the source to be tailored for different modes of operation. The specs on this unit are as follows:

Discharge Supply: 2KV maximum voltage at 10 mA. This supply can be configured in a true floating mode; floated by an  internal +/- 500 DC source ; or ground referenced  with the other side of the source being driven by  yet another +/- 500 VDC supply which will accept  the discharge current.

Focusing Supplies: There are 4 +/- 500 VDC focusing lens power supplies included in this chassis. The specifications on these supplies are identical to those of the TD series power supplies.

High Power Lens Supply: This supply can provide +/- 500 VDC at up to 10 mA. This supply is used to drive one side of the glow discharge source if the  discharge supply is operated in a  ground-based mode.


Metering: Panel metering is provided for the monitoring of all of the lens power supplies. The glow discharge voltage and  current are monitored via banana jacks on the front panel  of the chassis.
