We, as United Methodist Christians and members of McMasters United Methodist Church, believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that through his death and resurrection, provided the only acceptable means of salvation for those who will believe. We are commanded by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk always in the ways of the Lord, using our talents and gifts to serve God and others. We are challenged to grow as Christ's disciples through prayer, Bible study, joyful warship, tithing, fasting, and witnessing to God's love in Christ. As a church family, we are called and committed to minister to the needs of all God's creation, especially to the rejected, oppressed and misunderstood persons of our society and the world. We rejoice in Jesus' assurance that: "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
