Presbyterian Women

Greetings!!  Just a reminder that all women members of FPCE are automatically enrolled as a member of Presbyterian Women.  We invite you to participate and join us for the exciting activities we have planned for this year.

PW Purpose:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:

To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
To support the mission of the church worldwide
To work for justice and peace
To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom.

Each PW is made up of Circles, small groups which meet for Bible study and prayer, and to help accomplish the work of PW, raising funds to support mission work locally, throughout the presbytery, the synod, and world-wide.

At FPCE we have a long history with PW. The work of PW has continued at FPCE with one active circle, Joy, moderated by Sallie, which meets on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Helping Hands, moderated by Florence Pickels, is our PW assistance to grieving families, providing refreshments to those attending funerals at the church.
