Below you will learn how to connect to the Internet through localconnect.
Step 1. Access Dial-Up Window.

Double click on "the Internet" icon which appears on your desktop. If
this icon is not present or you have your connection set up differently, double click on your dialer shortcut or access localconnect's dialer through My Computer, Dial Up Networking. |
Step 2. Dialing localconnect You will now be faced with a window like this one. Where it asks for your user name, type your localconnect account name. In the box where it asks for your Password, enter your localconnect password. If you would like for Windows to remember your password, check the box labeled Save Password. Next, click the Connect button. |

Step 3. Dialing and Logging
on to Server.
This step is automatically done for you as a form similar to the one shown here is displayed and your computer dials localconnect. |
After a moment, you should be connected to localconnect. If you experience any problems dialing localconnect, or a black Post-Dial Terminal is displayed, then your computer is not properly configured to access the Internet through localconnect's service. If this is the case then correct your computer's settings.
