"O God, Thou are my God; I shall seek Thee earnestly; my soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh yearns for Thee, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have beheld Thee in the sanctuary, to see Thy power and Thy glory." (Psalm 63:1-2)
All of us seek things we think is our life's meaning. Whatever it may be - work, pleasure, people, "toys", etc., but at sometime we realize our life is empty or there is something more than these hollow pursuits.
As David we may need to be alone to seek, search, and find the truth. He realized in the wilderness what we all need to acknowledge is "O God, Thou art my God."
If we earnestly seek Jesus Christ, we will find Him. Sam Shoemaker challenged people to try God for thirty days in earnest, and He will meet you.
How do we try God?
Is it time for you to try God for thirty days? Are you thirsting for God? God is waiting for You!
